It features three air-conditioned bedrooms, each brimming with character and rustic charm, a comfortable living space, courtyard, and pool. The cozy living room, with its historic arched ceilings and inviting fireplace, is the perfect space for quality family time, while the kitchen is fully equipped to cater to your culinary needs. Outside, the private courtyard with its kidney-shaped pool and greenery provides a serene spot to unwind and soak up the sun.
At Tan-Nanna, every detail is carefully curated to ensure your stay is one that you and your family and friends will always remember.

History is woven into every detail of Tan-Nanna’s welcoming indoor living space. The living room, once a stable, now serves as the heart of the home, with beautiful arched ceilings, stone slabs, and a cosy fireplace. A snug couch, wicker ottomans, a woven rug make it the ideal space for snuggling up and watching a movie (on Netflix or Cable) or to gather with the family for game night.
Adjacent to this snug retreat are two doorways, one leading to the well-equipped kitchen and dining area, where stone walls and arches frame modern culinary conveniences, and the other to a ground floor bedroom.
The ground floor bedroom features metre-thick walls and two grand arches that create a dramatic cross overhead. Not only will you find a comfortable double bed, but you’ll also find traditional mangers once used for feeding the former residents of the stable.
The primary and twin bedrooms, as well as a guest shower room, can be accessed from the courtyard via a set of exterior stone steps leading to an enclosed terrace. The primary boasts traditional stone walls, wooden ceiling beams, and cement flooring, as well as an ensuite shower room. The twin opens onto a second terrace offering sunlit views and features a garderobe that dates to the time of the Knights.
A French door from the kitchen opens to a serene courtyard furnished with a wrought iron table and chairs and comfortable sun loungers.
The private pool and an array of plant life creates a cool and calm atmosphere where guests can enjoy the Mediterranean sun while staying away from the busy beaches and tourist hot spots.

For larger groups seeking additional accommodations, we offer flexible rental options to suit your needs.
Opt for the combined charm of Ta’ Nikola and Tan-Nanna, connected by a convenient backdoor near the pool area, and enjoy the luxury of six bedrooms while taking advantage of the amenities across both properties.
Alternatively, for groups requiring seven bedrooms, consider the pairing of Ta’ Nikola and Tal-Kitarra, linked by a backdoor adjacent to the pool area, providing ample space and shared access to the outdoor oasis.
For gatherings of up to 21 guests, our three farmhouses can be rented together, allowing you to move freely between the properties and indulge in the full array of facilities at your disposal.

All properties have Hi-Speed Wi-Fi (fibre-optic by GO plc).
Is there heating or air conditioning?
Tal-Kitarra Villa is equipped with AC split units throughout the property, including bedrooms and living areas.
Ta’ Nikola has AC split units in the 2 main bedrooms, but the smaller bedroom does not have AC.
Tan-Nanna has an AC split unit in every bedroom.
Tan-Nanna and Ta’ Nikola Farmhouses also have cozy wood-burning stoves/fireplaces, and we provide free wood for our guests in the winter.
Is there cable TV?
Yes, the farmhouses are equipped with cable TV channels and Netflix.
Are pets allowed at any of the properties?
No, we cannot accept pets at any of the properties.
Are there any noise restrictions?
Yes, guests must follow local guidelines regarding noise levels. This means no loud music or excessive noise after 10pm.
Is smoking allowed?
No. Smoking is not permitted in any area of the house.
What time is check-out? Do you offer late check-out?
Check-out is at 10.30am. If you require a late check-out or an early check-in, please contact us directly at the time of booking. We will try our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee that this will be an option.
Are there any child-friendly or accessibility features across the properties?
Adults can easily control access to the pool area, and we offer kid-friendly amenities like high chairs and travel cots. The outdoor stairs have railings for added safety.
Do the villas have any sustainability features or eco-friendly practices in place?
Yes, we’ve implemented several eco-friendly features, including energy-saving appliances, LED lighting, low-flow faucets and showerheads, rainwater collection for irrigation, recycling practices, and avoidance of single-use plastics.
When the properties are rented collectively, what additional facilities become available?
By renting all three properties together – Ta’ Nikola, Tan-Nanna, and Tal-Kitarra – you gain access to a total of 10 bedrooms, accommodating up to 21 guests. The interconnecting backdoors between the properties are opened, allowing you to move freely and enjoy the full array of facilities across all three homes.
How do the properties interconnect and is there a common area for large groups to gather?
The properties, though distinct, share a common theme of luxury and comfort. They feature a well-conceived layout that connects them through a backdoor situated conveniently at the pool area. This shared outdoor space remains consistent across all properties, ensuring everyone can enjoy the same quality of ambiance and amenities while benefiting from the exclusive feel of their own home.
Are there any combined services or staff that manage all three properties when rented together?
As self-catering properties, guests will have them all to themselves. Our team will only enter for services like pool maintenance, and we’ll always provide advance notice.
How is privacy maintained between the properties when they are rented as a whole?
When renting the entire property, clients can decide if and when to keep the access doors open, allowing limited entry between properties during certain daytime hours while enjoying more privacy at other times.
Can you provide examples of previous events held across all three properties?
Certainly! We’ve hosted groups of friends with shared hobbies, large families, and wedding parties who appreciated the ability to stay close while having their own space.
Yoga retreats and sports teams have also found our properties ideal for practice, rest, and team bonding. And religious groups have enjoyed the peace and quiet our villas offer.
Can the properties be rented for a party or function?
No, the properties can only be rented for domestic use. Parties and functions are strictly prohibited.
